Today a great day whit the discovery of a first succeeded  breeding atempt for Sao Miguel.

Purple heron

On the same day just near the blue heron in a remote pond another present. 17th Purple heron for the Azores.

Little Blue Heron

The 4th Litlle Blue Heron for the WP and 3th for the Azores was a great summer suprise. Never seen in Europe whit the amazing blue adult plumage it made several birders coming from the north of Europe to spot it.
